There is literally something for everyone here - from golf, fishing and steam train rides to segway tours, nature walks and tree-top walkways.
Being a mostly rural county, there are some pretty big country parks to visit in Dorset. Moors Valley Country Park and Forest is Dorset’s largest, at an impressive 1000 acres.
Moors Valley is a joint venture between Dorset Council and Forestry England. It's a big site to look after and the aim is to balance the needs of visitors with those of the environment and wildlife.
