Ashdown Forest is a magical place situated in the Southeast of England, with over 10 square miles of land. It's full of lowland heathland and woodland habitats, which are perfect for tons of animals and insects, including many rare and threatened species.

This forest is famously known as the real-life home of a small yellow bear of very little brain. Yep, you guessed it! Ashdown Forest forest inspired the adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh in the 100 Acre Wood.

Created by A.A Milne who lived near the forest, Ashdown Forest is known as the legendary Hundred Acre Wood. Have your own adventure and join where Christopher Robin, Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit, Tigger, and Eeyore used to roam.3

Choose between a short 1km or a 3.25km amble and visit spots like Pooh Sticks Bridge, Galleon’s Lap, Roo’s Sandy Pit, and the Heffalump Trap.

There is also a handy shop and café for when you're ready to rest and recharge.
