A magical woodland hike that leads to a secret waterfall

Hidden deep in the Surrey Hills is a stunning, natural waterfall that many people don't realise is there.

This natural phenomenon is a must-visit for any hiker or photographer looking to capture Surrey's most beautiful (and hidden) natural sights.

But it's not the easiest place to find.

If you're looking for a break from busy modern life, the humming sound of trickling water and the surrounding wildlife will instantly lower your blood pressure and have you breathing more freely.

The waterfall is tucked away on private land on the Wotton Estate on the north slopes of Leith Hill, and there are no signposts to show you the way. The easiest starting point is the Broadmoor car park. The waterfall is about a 20 to 30 minute hike from here, through the woodlands. While you can't touch the waterfall, the bridleway allows members of the public to experience the watery monument from a short distance away.

The trail isn't ideal for elderly people or those with mobility challenges.
