Gwynedd - Bangor St. Deiniol Golf Club

Grab your clubs and head to one of the most scenic golf courses in the UK

Bangor St. Deiniol Golf Club is rightly considered to be one of the best golf courses in North Wales. The par 68 course overlooks the city of Bangor and has fantastic views of Anglesey, Snowdonia and the North Wales coast.

Part of the James Braid circuit, this 18-hole parkland course is an interesting and challenging experience, especially first-time. But both visitors and members can enjoy a traditional club with a friendly atmosphere, magnificent views from the clubhouse, and a Golf Shop where you can stop off for guidance and equipment.

Perched high on the hill above the historic city of Bangor, the most breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding area unfurl before you as you work your way around the course; the often snow-capped peaks of Snowdonia, the Lleyn Peninsula, over the Menai Straits to Anglesey and north west to the Great Orme. A magnificent James Braid layout, the club was formed in 1906 and is a wonderful example of the natural design of golf courses by this respected architect.

St Deiniol Golf Club has some of the most exhilarating views you could ever wish to experience on a golf course, which all adds to the joy of playing a round here.
