Play a round at the 'home of English golf'

Founded in 1891, Woodhall Spa Golf Club is the ‘Home of English Golf’ and is host to the excellent National Golf Centre alongside two amazing golf courses.

The Hotchkin Course is consistently ranked among the very best heathland courses in the world and is one of the best courses in England. The Bracken Course is less well-known but maintains a great reputation for modern golf course design, providing a great range of challenging holes in a parkland layout.

There are two fantastic courses on offer - the Hotchkin and the Bracken. Currently, the Hotchkin is ranked number 54 best in the world and has recently been refurbished by a leading golf course architect Tom Doak.

The Hotchkin course at Woodhall Spa is consistently ranked among the top 10 golf courses in England, as well as the top 100 golf courses in the world. This impressive ranking is well deserved, as the course has an array of stunning holes from start to finish. This heathland layout is famous for its dramatic bunkers and natural beauty. You can guarantee a true but enjoyable test of golf at The Hotchkin.

The Bracken course is a Donald Steel creation - the fairways and greenside bunkers are more generous than those of The Hotchkin, while the large, undulating greens offer a great challenge right from the first tee.

The club prides themselves on keeping up with and meeting all of the needs of the members and guests. You will be given a very warm welcome and great hospitality, whether or not you are enjoying a break away with friends or playing in a championship.

Woodhall Spa Golf Club offers an all-round golfing experience, the excellent facilities onsite give golfers the opportunity to fine-tune their game.
