Cambridgeshire - Gog Magog Golf Club
Golf amongst the famous Gog Magog hills
Built on free-draining chalk downland and situated 3 miles south east of the historic city of Cambridge, the Gog Magog Golf Club has two stunning and very different courses to choose from.
Although the course is situated in the famously flat East Anglia, don't be fooled into thinking that the course is equally flat. Its proximity to the Gog Magog hills adds some unexpected undulations right from the first tee.
The Old Course, opened in 1901, has all the character you you'd expect from a course with so much history. It has plenty of variety, great views and is an excellent test for all abilities.
The Wandlebury Course, opened in 1997, is longer than the Old Course and has USGA specification greens. From both courses there are panoramic views across Cambridgeshire. While, directly north, Ely Cathedral rises out of the surrounding Fens.
The warm ambience of the Club House, with its excellent dining facilities and one of the best golf practice amenities in the Cambridge area, ensures an enjoyable golf experience for any visitor.
