Flintshire - Hawarden Golf Club

Play a round at the friendliest golf club in Wales

Known as ‘the friendliest golf club’, the 100-year-old golf Hawarden Golf Club has an 18-hole course where you can test your game and your legs!

The greens are kept in great condition, and you’ll need a different tactic for every hole – so it’s perfect if you like to put on your thinking cap.

The club was founded in 1911 but has been continuously developed and refined over the years with relayed greens, tree planting, improved drainage and reshaped bunkers.

If you need to stock up on balls or book yourself a couple of lessons with the course pro, there’s an onsite pro shop and there’s also a great clubhouse for that important post-match analysis.

Recently, Hawarden Golf Club has become involved in Operation Pollinator – a brilliant initiative to help the plight of the bumblebee and other pollinating insects.
