Fish all year round at Stamford Way Fisheries

Located in the Ewloe countryside, the relatively new Stamford Way Fisheries is open all year round and has two coarse fishing pools - known as Twin Oaks - heavily stocked with common carp, mirror carp and F1s. Plus, they may soon be introducing freshwater ide.

Thanks to extensive carp and other species stocking by the owner, it’s possible to catch bags of carp weighing up to 100 pounds. Just inside the café entrance, there’s a small ancillary tackle shop where you can sign in and buy tickets to fish, book for matches, buy tackle and bait and browse the range of branded clothing.

This family-friendly fishing spot caters for anglers of all ages and abilities amd has 41 pegs (including a wheelchair-friendly peg), carp fishing for pleasure anglers with local/resident open matches, competitive match fishing, and a handy café and toilets on site.
