Cornwall - Whitsand Bay Golf Club

A friendly club with stunning coastal views over Whitsand Bay

Whitsand Bay Golf Club is one of those courses you really must play when you're in Cornwall. Whether it’s dolphins swimming in the bay as you tee off or a magical sunset over the 18th, this course and its surrounding scenery won't disappoint.

Whitsand Bay Golf Club in Portwrinkle, Cornwall is set on a clifftop overlooking Whitsand Bay. This 6,015 yard, par 70 course will give you a fair challenge in a quintessentially Cornish setting, and you’re sure to get a warm welcome in the pro shop and the clubhouse.

The 18-hole course was designed by Fernie of Troon in 1905 but has obviously been added to and updated over the years. The terrain and layout are ideal if you’re a low handicapper but also accessible enough if you’re new to the game.

The views across the bay from the Dovecote clubhouse are pretty unbeatable so it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy some refreshments after your round.

Know some budding young golfers? Whitsand Bay has a thriving Junior Section and prides itself on offering a safe, welcoming environment for juniors to play and learn.

The Junior Academy runs every Saturday throughout the season, covering all aspects of the game to get juniors playing on the full golf course as quickly as possible. As part of the academy, juniors can also have 9-hole group tuition sessions as well as other fun activities.
