Gyrn Estate Carp Fisheries is on a private estate in an attractive village in a conservation area and provides a peaceful setting for a day’s fishing. It’s by no means an easy lake and will provide some challenges but brings real rewards if you get your tactics right.
It has two mature estate lakes of 3 acres (top lake) and 1 acre (bottom lake) surrounded by beautiful private woodlands and stocked with carp weighing up to 28 lbs, as well as rudd and perch. The two lakes have a variety of depths ranging from 2 to 10 feet, with a stream running in at one end and a dam at the other
The top lake is the larger of the two fishing pools and contains a large number of specimen carp of 28 pounds or more. It’s an exclusive spot as there are never more than eight anglers fishing at a time, with a maximum of three rods each.
