This mainly flat 3.6km circular walk starts at the edge of Llyn Maelog lake and finishes at Traeth Llydan beach and has well defined paths. There are some minor rocky outcrops, and an accessible boardwalk around the lake itself and it’s a pleasant walk of around 60 to 90 minutes.
The lake is bird watching heaven so get your binoculars ready to see a variety of water and wading birds. A long stretch of beach provides an ideal opportunity for some beach combing and shell collecting.
One short area has grazing horses and donkeys with signs warning that dogs must be on leads in this section.
