Anglesey - Seacoast Safaris

Discover the coastal wildlife of Wales

Explore the coast of Wales with a scenic boat trip that showcases wildlife – such as puffins and seals - in its natural habitat while making sure that human disturbance is kept to an absolute minimum. Departing from Beaumaris, Seacoast Safaris takes you on adventures to multiple scenic locations.

Don’t miss the Puffin Island trip, where you can learn about the wildlife in the area and have a chance to spot the characterful little birds. You might even be lucky enough to see a porpoise or a dolphin.

Puffin Island is now a bird sanctuary and a nesting site for many species of breeding seabirds including guillemots, razorbill, puffins and kittiwakes from April to July. Other species such as cormorant and shags are on the island all year round. Puffin Island also is also home to a colony of grey seals who normally have their pups in the autumn.

What’s more, Seacoast Safaris are one of the greenest boat operators in North Wales, running all their passenger vessel on a second-generation Biofuel, a low carbon, low emission, fossil-free and sustainable alternative to conventional diesel.
