Test your accuracy at Matlock Golf Club

Offering spectacular views over the Derwent Valley, Matlock Golf Club was established in 1906 and designed by Tom Williamson. The 18-hole par 70 course was built on the undulating moorland above the town of Matlock.

Measuring 5,996 yards as a par 70, Matlock isn't for the really long hitter, but it's a fabulous test of accuracy. Along with Bentley Brook meandering through the course, many ravines, gullies and the careful placing of heather and ravines make this an intriguing challenge for any golfer.

The Golf Course is built on moorland with heather, gorse, wild flowers and diverse wild life. A number of bird boxes are in place around the course with large areas of land maintained specifically to encourage different flora and fauna, including wild orchids, insects and small mammals.
