Anglesey - Seawake Boat Trips

Explore Anglesey's beautiful coast with Seawake boat trips

Seawake is a boating club and training school that also organises high-speed trips around the Isle of Anglesey. You can join them for a tour along the beautiful coastline of Anglesey and the Menai Strait. Feel the wind in your hair as you experience the twists, turns and power of a 600 bhp RIB ride!

The Bridges Tour showcases Anglesey’s beautiful coastline and iconic bridges, giving you a unique view of some of magnificent buildings (such as Plas Newydd House) and islands that can’t be seen from land.

You’ll also see the Menai Bridge, a triumph of civil engineering that was completed in 1826. Marvel at its enormity as you pass underneath it and imagine sailing ships navigating the treacherous waters underneath its arches in times gone by.

You’ll pass by some islands that are home to several species of heron which can often be seen feeding in the waters around them before continuing down the Strait towards Robert Stevenson’s Britannia Bridge. You’ll head under the bridge, spotting the two lions as you go before saluting the hidden statue of Lord Nelson.

After this, the tour continues down to Plas Newydd, the ancestral home of the Marques of Anglesey before returning to Beaumaris Pier.
